Excellence in Leadership

KATE CHAPIN will be attending Chapman University to become a Special Education Teacher for elementary schools.  She is an AP Scholar with Distinction, Perfect Score Chasee - Math and English.  Her community service includes work as a volunteer at Canyon Lake Community Church Music/Drama Day Camp, usher at Old Globe Theater, and Community Theater participation.

 

DEANNA GANGITANO will atend Cal State Fullerton and plans to become an Athletic Trainer for a professional sports team, own a business, or work at the collage or high school level.  She is a valedictorian and in the top 100 students based on grades 9-12, Scholar Athlete, having high GPA in varsity sports.  Her community activies are helping with school dances at Wildomar and Cottonwood Elementary, Elsinore High student training, and Bosom Buddies.   

 

NICOLE MURRAY will be attending Le Cordon Blue Collage of Culinary Arts.  After getting her degree in Culinary Art, Nicole and her mother plan to open a bakery.  Long-term goal is to be on TV as an Ultimate Cake Baker. Awards received Honor Roll, Dance, Student of the Month. Community Service for the Unity of the Community.

 

NIKKI REYNEN will attend Vanguard University of Southern Cal. Her goal is to become a Psychologist, as well as continue with her journalistic endeavors to become a professional writer of articles and books.  Awards are Principal's Golden Circle of Honor for GPA for Academic Excellence, Honor Roll three years, and Renaissance four years. She has been a member of Canyon Lake Community Theater, Founding Member Light House Players, and a Teen Reporter for The Friday Flyer.

 

MICHELLE REYES plans to attend Cal Poly Pomona and become a Veterinarian and own her own Animal Hospital and Clinic.  Awards at Elsinore High 11-12 ASB, 11-12 National Honor Society, 9-10 hardest worker, 9-11 Captains Award, and 10-12 All School Award.  She does community service as a volunteer at Animal Friends of the Valley and Wildomar Little League Assistant Coach.

 

LAUREN THATCHER is going to attend the University of Michigan and major in Kinesiology and Master in Athletic Training. Awards received Honor Roll, All CIF Academic, All American Academic, Athlete of Season (Winter), Varsity Water Polo, Swim, CSF, NHS, Renaissance and Student of the Month.  Community service includes H.O.P.E., Boys Water Polo Stats, Canyon Lake Snow Day, and Link Crew.


MADISON WESSELN plans to become a Physician's Assistant or Doctor and major in Biology at the University of Loyola Marymont.  Madison has complete serveral AP classes. Awards include Principal High Honor Roll, Graduation Honor Guard, President's Education Award, Scholar Athlete, National Biology, Student of the Year.  She has filled Community Service requirements for Linfield High School, including Link, a mentoring organization for incoming freshman and new students.

 

 


CONTINUING EDUCATION - CARA DECKERT will be a sophomore at Vanguard University. Her goal is to obtain a degree in English. After graduating from Vanguard with a Bachelors Degree, she wants to continue her education and get a Masters Degree in English and teach English abroad.  Choice of countries is China or Russia. 

 

CONTINUING EDUCATION - AMY KENNEDY will be a sophomore at San Diego State University. She has been accepted in the Speach Therapy Department and currently enrolled in Deaf Culture Class.  She is ahead of schedule because of high school AP classes.

 

CONTINUING EDUCATION - ERIN MORPHIS will be a Senior at Cal State Fullerton, her career goal Recreational Therapist.  She is in Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and has done philanthropy events and Christmas Child.

 

CONTINUING EDUCATION - KRISTY NESS will be a sophomore at Point Loma Nazarene University. Her goal is to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and then go to gradute school to become a Nurse Practitioner.  She has been accepted into Palomar Pomerado Health Internship.

 

CONTINUING EDUCATION - SARAH POTTER-SMITH will be a sophomore at University of San Diego. She plans to be a Physician's Assistant. She is on the Dean's List, First Honors, having a 4.5 GPA. Her goal is to help others.


CONTINUING EDUCATION - AMANDA SWERENGIN will be a sophomore at California Baptist University. She plans to become a Graphic Designer for a design and marketing advertising firm. She wants to get a minor in Marketing. She is currently training to serve as a focus leader in the next school year.


CONTINUING EDUCATION - ALTHEA WAGONER will be a Junior at Cal State Fullerton.  Her career goal is to become a Journalist or News Reporter. Ali has been a resident advisor with the Housing and Residence Life Program and has been highly praised for doing a great job.
