SUZI DELIA

President

Suzi was born in San Bernardino and moved to Santa Monica when she was nine.  She worked three years as a Customer Rep at GTE and another 32 years for Hughes Aircraft/Raytheon.  She received certification from UCLA in Government Contract Management and retired as a Finance Manager for several Classified Programs.  During these busy career years Suzi was also CFO for her husband's contracting business.  Together she and Pete have 5 children and 9 grand-children.  One son and two grandaughters live in Canyon Lake.  Suzi is very involved with the CL Car Club (which Pete helped establish), with CL Yacht Club and Roadrunners, taking every opportunity to spend as much time as possible in her motor home which she enjoys very much.  This is Suzi's 3rd year on the Board; 2 years ago serving as 1st Vice President/Programs, last year serving as Treasurer.

Jan May

1st Vice President - Programs

Pennsylvania born, Jan moved to California at the age of 21.  After working for LA Gear & Oacle for a number of years, she moved on to open her own boutique in El Segundo.  Jan and husband Bob loved sailing their 38ft. Catalina sloop "Jancat" along with other members of the Hanalei and Cabrillo Beach Yacht Clubs.  Although Jan had planned to retire in Canyon Lake she got her real estate license and was soon back at work.  Bob and Jan have 4 adult sons, 5 grandchildren and 2 Bichon Frises aptly named "Martini & Rossi".  Jan's involvement with CL Yacht Club, Roadrunners, Travel Club and CLWC keeps her very busy.   This is Jan's 2nd year on the Board having served as Chairperson for Ways & Means, Programs, Fiesta Days and the Holiday Home Tour.
